The Cookie Book!

Holy. Crap. She’s here. I am BEYOND excited that The Cookie Book is finally out in the world. It took a lot of sore feet, tired eyes and more butter + sugar than you can possibly imagine, but it is so worth it. I am so freaking proud of this book and I can’t wait for you to have it in your hands, baking from it and transforming these recipes into your family favorites!!

G E T  Y O U R  C O P Y

I’m going to keep this short and sweet, but here are the links to grab your copy if you don’t have one yet (she makes an excellent gift as well, if I do say so myself).

We’re calling it TCB now…cause why not?

Some quick Cookie Book facts: there are over 75 recipes with photos (pics by moi)…and not just cookie recipes, but ice cream recipes and recipes for buttercream and glazes and creams and basically all of the best things that life has to offer. Every recipe is something I would crave, a texture I want to bite into and something I want sitting under a lidded pedestal acting like the queen it is.

There are seven chapters (including one completely devoted to chocolate chip cookies and another that puts holiday cookies on display).

But most important, I made sure there was a nice balance between laying-on-the-couch-in-your-sweats-and-craving-a-cookie cookies (think snickerdoodles, heaps of chocolate chip cookies, molasses cookies, sugar cookies, oatmeal cookies) and cookies that are meant to dazzle and impress (think macarons, meringues and stuffed cookies with homemade ice cream).

But instead of me going on and on about all of these AMAZING recipes that I’m in love with (this isn’t a time to be humble), I’m going to give you some of my favorite photos from the book that will paint a picture of what’s going on in The Cookie Book pages…

TCB P H O T O  P A R T Y

OK, there is a peek at some of my favorite photos from the book…there are honestly so many more but I don’t think the page could handle much more!!

I’m starting the post-Cookie Book release giveaways soon (and there are some good ones!)…so start baking your way through the book, posting your photos to Instagram and tagging me @displacedhousewife #TheCookieBook so I can see your gorgeous Cookie Book cookies! More details coming soon on this!

More to come later!!! I need to get some rest so I can 100% enjoy tomorrow!!!

The cookies are amazing! Just wondering if I should lightly roast the hazelnuts in the 24K Gold Hazelnut Bars? Would like your opinion before investing in all the ingredients….
    Congrats on this delicious book!

I have your book and I’m so excited to test out some recipes this weekend. I noticed you specify to bake one sheet at a time in your recipes, have you tried baking 2 at a time? Did it make a huge difference?
I want to bake 3 or 4 recipes, I couldn’t decide lol I wanted to bake them all, this weekend and I’m trying to save alittle time lol

Hi Samantha!! I do this because the cookies bake more evenly when you bake one sheet at a time. If you want to bake more than one at a time, rotate them midway through front to back and top to bottom — this will help bake them evenly. I apologize for not getting back to you sooner!!!
